Baritone Saxophone
Scott Harold
I found my passion for music in middle school, playing alto, tenor, and Bari sax in the schools concert band. I learned a lot about music from my teacher and mentor, Adam Schultz, who is the music teacher at Elm City Middle School. Throughout high school, I gained even more knowledge and experience performing in the concert band, marching band, jazz band, and other groups at Fike High School, as well as briefly joining the Moonlight Swing Band! After graduating High School, I attended ECU to obtain a music education degree. After only 1 semester, God had put me on a different path and I studied Culinary Arts at Wilson Community College. I received an associate in applied science degree and worked in many different restaurants around the Wilson area for the next couple of years. After a few long years of cooking in kitchens, an opportunity opened up a career path in the insurance industry and I began working as a claims adjuster for North Carolina Farm Bureau. While working a typical 9-5, I enjoy artisan baking and contributing to the music ministry at Forest Hills Presbyterian Church in Wilson. I am proud and honored to once again be a member of the Moonlight Swing Band.
