Eddie Atkins

On tenor sax, Eddie, one of the finest tenor sax players in Eastern North Carolina, is a native Wilsonian and graduate of Wilson's Ralph L. Fike Senior High School.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education from Atlantic Christian College (now Barton College), has taught music lessons privately and was a member of the Wilson Chorale.

Currently, he sings with the Rocky Mount Chamber Singers and plays viola with the Barton-Wilson Symphony.

The Moonlight Swing Band is fortunate to have Eddie playing with us - an all-around great guy and a fine musician.
